Commercial Play

Darren's Dens have designed and installed commercial playgrounds, play areas and play towers for parish councils, schools, pre-schools, nurseries and caravan parks.  Pictures of some of our completed projects are below, visit the dropdown tabs on the menu for further details.

All of our commercial playgrounds, play areas and play towers are constructed to BS EN 1176 safety standards.  We use laminated and planed timber posts that are extra strong, the posts have galvanised steel post feet attached to the timber posts to prolong the life of the posts.  We also offer a range of eco-friendly safety surfaces which meet with BS EN 1177 safety standards to suit the correct critical fall height for your play area and your budget.

We recommend that commercial play towers have the posts concreted into the ground for the raised play dens, play houses and play towers to help keep the structure stable even after several years of use. The structures can then also be installed on uneven ground, or on a slope giving you the opportunity to have an interesting play area even in the most awkward or unusable spaces.
